The purpose of human resource management is enhancing the productivity of employees and improving the efficiency of all business operations that an organization has. Human resource management is responsible to handle activities like employment analysis, employment, training and development (T&D), employee affairs, performance monitoring and reward management to increase the employee performance.

Occupation analysis - Different organizations have different job positions. Therefore, the management of any organization should have a clear understanding about their job positions. They should know the qualification levels, experience levels, training and development needs, ways of performance analysis of each job position. Knowing these facts are vital to assign correct person to the correct job and teach him the responsibilities and duties he has. Hiring experienced workers is the most suitable option available for firms that need short-term productivity increase. Appropriate compensation process should be implemented to motivate people to work effectively. Performance monitoring can be done through various methodologies like Ranking Method, Forced Distribution method, the checklist method and critical Incident technique.



Remuneration management - Only the happy worker will work for the organization's success. Satisfied and happy worker can only be made through a proper remuneration process. HRM is responsible to offer financial as well as non-financial rewards to encourage the workers.
